I am delighted to share this unique visual experience, set to the powerful music of "Pascui Calul Pe Razoare" ('I Grazed the Horse on the Ridges').

This traditional Romanian dance originates from Banat, the western Danube plain of Romania. It is often performed during Easter celebrations. The dance is energetic and typically performed by men. It is believed to invoke a horse deity, which, according to Romanian mythology, brings good fortune, prosperity, and protection to the community. It is, quite remarkably, considered one of the oldest dances in the world.

Let this ancient, profound sound, performed by Gundula Gruen, accompany the beautiful visuals of European horses.
