Oh, my heart! We are reaching deep into the archives to share this absolute treasure with you. This isn't just a video; this is the London Gypsy Orchestra’s (LGO) very first recorded live performance.

Captured at the Covent Garden Dragon Hall Trust in London in 2006, this performance is pure, unbridled, explosive joy. Under the masterful, passionate direction of founder Gundula Stojanova Gruen, you can feel the entire orchestra pouring their souls into every note.

Expect nothing less than fiery fiddling, rich, soul-stirring Balkan music, and the raw, vibrant spirit of Eastern European folk that swept us all away. The passionate and masterful dance performance of the late Ljiljana Grkinić was the highlight of the evening. It’s a moment of community, deep love for the art, and music that makes your feet want to dance forever!

Let’s travel back: Did this music touch your life at Dragon Hall in 2006? Share your wildest, warmest memory of LGO with us in the comments! 👇
