Calling all Bristol musicians 🌿✨

I’m absolutely delighted to be heading to the wonderful Bridge Farm Bristol on Sunday 17th May for a rather special Balkan Music Workshop.

Who is it for? All melodic instruments are welcome! Whether you play strings, wind, or even a mandolin, as long as you can handle a melody or a bit of rhythmic accompaniment, you’ll fit right in. We’ll learn primarily by ear (it’s more intuitive and authentic that way!), but I’ll have sheet music as a "safety net" for those who want it 🎼🎷

All material is carefully chosen to be fresh and not widely played within UK Balkan music circles, including a few gems from my secret repertoire, ensuring a new and engaging experience for everyone.

Expect a workshop that is focused yet relaxed, and detailed yet accessible — a space to listen closely, develop your ear, and deepen your connection to the music. I do not need to mention that FUN and joyful playing is always at the forefront 😎😉💐

The Details:

📅 When: Sunday 17th May, 10.30am – 2pm

📍 Where: Bridge Farm, Glenfrome Road, Bristol BS16 1BQ

🎟️ Fee: £25 / £20 Concession
