Though Valentine’s Day was yesterday, love is still in the air, and I'm still celebrating a love story like no other 💞
This excerpt of a Hungarian Romance is played on my beloved Klotz violin. I named her Panna Czinka, after the legendary 18th-century ""Gypsy Queen of the Fiddle,"" who was the first (and only!) woman of her time to lead a Romany ensemble.
After Ludwig VAN Beethoven (my entire home on wheels) was stolen, I thought I had lost this sound forever, because my precious Panna Czinka was inside. But as if by magic, the van was found recently, and my violin, my home, and many of my most cherished items returned to my arms 🚐✨ I'll tell you more about the full story later!
This piece feels like a true celebration of love and the unbreakable bond between a musician and her instrument. Sometimes, what is lost finds its way back to you in the most serendipitous and surprising ways ✨🙌🏻🥰
