Balkan Music from the Danube cover features castle, sky, text on instruments in C, backing tracks, 29 tunes, Ottoman influences.

Following our grand reopening celebrations, we invite the Brent community to stay for a very special introduction to my book, Balkan Music from the Danube.

Join Gundula (Magic Violin) and Jeremy Halliwell (Guitar) for an hour of enchanting music and evocative stories. 'Balkan Music from the Danube with Ottoman Influences' is a vibrant tapestry of melodies and heritage, tracing the cultural flow of one of Europe’s most significant rivers. It captures the spirit of the diverse folk tunes and traditions nourished by the river's banks for centuries, bringing these forgotten and often unknown musical memories to life for a modern audience.
