Continuing our journey through the London Gypsy Orchestra (LGO) archive, today’s find is a real spark of energy!

This is an excerpt of Mesk Havasi — a title that translates beautifully to a "Tavern Tune" or "Coffee House Melody." It’s the kind of music that belongs in a room filled with laughter, clinking glasses, and camaraderie.

Looking back at this performance, I’m reminded of the incredible, raw energy we shared on stage that night. It’s fast, it’s fun, and it carries that unmistakable nostalgic "Mesk" (blissful) feeling that only these old melodies can provide.

I’m so proud to be cultivating this archive, ensuring these vibrant musical moments are preserved for a new generation of listeners. It’s a bit of a musical time-machine, really. Won't you join us for a cup? ☕
