about Mihajlo Stojanov Gruen
Mihajlo Stojanov Gruen is an enthusiastic classical guitarist keen on teaching and performing. He started his musical development at the ’Petkov Institute of Arts and Classical Guitar’ in Skpoje, N. Macedonia. Whilst mastering his instrument he was fortunate to work with eminent guitarists such as Miroslav Tadić, Ljubomir Nakesvki, and Declan Zapala and subsequently obtained an AET certificate in education.
Mihajlo has played at numerous festivals, art exhibitions and poetry readings both as a solo artist and as part of the guitar duo ‘Isharet’. His repertoire includes arrangements of Macedonian folk songs, flamenco tunes as well as classical pieces.
With more than 10 years’ experience of teaching classical guitar, Mihajlo brings a unique approach to each student's learning journey. His teaching philosophy is built upon the pillars of patience, encouragement, and individualised instruction.
